Program Description:

With a regional population level of over three million people, and a projection of further growth into the future, it’s no surprise that Charlotte is one of the fastest growing places within the United States. Join Dr. Adrienne Hua, Lead Principal Researcher at the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance (CLT Alliance), as she shares details on the region’s economy including trends in the region’s population and demographics, what’s driving the growth in the region, growing industries and what resources the CLT Alliance has to offer small business owners.

About the Speaker:

Adrienne Hua, PhD holds a doctoral degree from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte in Public Policy. Her experience includes research in a variety of topics including economic development, international financial systems and human rights. Through her work with local stakeholders, including Mecklenburg County and other non-profits, she provided research on current trends for certain health-related and social policies, and provided input to help direct future action for results-based projects.
