How do you meet the challenge?

• Attend the free Realtor® Hot Topic “Long Island Divided” with investigator Bill Dedman on April 1 at 10 a.m. (via Zoom).

• Take the live-stream “At Home with Diversity” certification course April 15 and 16 for only $10 with Canopy Real Estate Institute or the on-demand “At Home with Diversity Course” at Canopy’s online learning center for $99.

• View NAR’s Bias Override: Overcoming Barriers to Fair Housing.

• Complete NAR’s Fairhaven: A Fair Housing Simulation Training.

• Watch the “What You Say Can Be Used Against You” Broker-in-Charge Briefing (you do not have to be a BIC to access).

• Check out the Canopy “Diversity in Action” webpage at carolinarealtors.com for local, state and national resources and information.

• Know a youth who is engaged in improving the quality of life in the region? Nominate them for the Canopy Housing Foundation’s Y.E.S. Award.

• Know an organization in Mecklenburg, Iredell or Haywood counties that is working to address unmet housing needs? Nominate that nonprofit for a Canopy Housing Foundation Community Grant.

• Get familiar with the Association’s and Foundation’s commitment to housing and the community. Learn more at the Canopy Housing Foundation’s website.
