Join friends and colleagues at the Fair Housing Month Celebration the signature event during Canopy’s Fair Housing Challenge.

A Conversation Under the Canopy   with national speaker Mia Ives-Rublee, director of the Disability Justice Initiative at American Progress. Mia is a disabled, transracial adoptee and athlete who has dedicated her life’s work to civil rights activism for disabled people, immigrants and other marginalized communities. She will share her experiences and offer members insight into the challenges, best practices and opportunities of working with clients who have disabilities while fostering a larger awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion.  Attendees have a chance to win a free quarter of MLS.

5:15-7:45 p.m. - You don't want to miss an evening of networking and fun featuring:

• Activities, food and exhibits on two floors including the Canopy 4th floor terrace
• Resource room that features housing community resources and real estate industry multi-cultural organizations
• Get a "taste" of Canopy with different cuisines featured on each floor
• The Realtor^® Store will have extended hours for shopping (5:15-7:30 p.m.).
• Purchase a Fair Housing T-shirt and all proceeds go to the Canopy Housing Foundation
• The event includes a  "networking style" scavenger hunt, to help members meet and become more engaged
• Meet members of the Canopy Diversity and Inclusion Alliance, Fair and Affordable Housing Advisory Group and Young Professionals Network
• Prizes including a grand prize of one free quarter of MLS fees
• Music, 360 booth, games, and fun

This event is ONLY for Canopy Realtor^® Association or Canopy MLS members. No guests are allowed.  

No-Show and Cancellations: This is a free member event. However, a $25 no-show fee will be assessed for no-shows who do not cancel before the event.
This is a member-only event! Please note, each registered member will receive one drink ticket with the option of purchasing a second ticket.
