Are you interested in serving on a Canopy Realtor® Association, Canopy MLS or Canopy Housing Foundation committee in 2024? Join us for coffee, networking, and the opportunity to learn more about volunteering with your fellow Realtors® and becoming more connected with Canopy.
Tiffany Johannes, 2023 president of Canopy, will interview a few of our 2023 committee chairs about why they volunteer, the benefits of volunteering and how being involved benefits members professionally and personally. You will also have the chance to meet your 2024 President Charisma Southerland, who will share her perspective on why you should consider signing-up for a committee. The sign-up period is September 1-October 31, 2023.
We look forward to sipping coffee, serving pastries and sharing information on volunteering on Wednesday, September 27.
Don't forget to register for Canopy Housing Foundation's Strides for Shelter 5K on October 22. Proceeds from the race will benefit Charlotte Family Housing, a shelter-to-housing program for working families experiencing homelessness.
During the Coffee @ Canopy we are also collecting items for the Charlotte Family Housing "Happy Home" Buckets. In addition to joining the race you can help families get a fresh start by donating at least one item. Your donations will assist Charlotte Family Housing with providing basic housecleaning essentials to families as they move from homelessness to stable housing.
We are also accepting donations of cleaning and household supplies for the “Happy Home Buckets” in The Realtor® Store now through Sept. 27. Donations will be accepted Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. For questions or further information please email klindsey@canopyrealtors.com.
